2009 Rules

 

Working on the complete rules and regulations.   Here are the rules concerning classes:

 

19.  In order to be eligible to ride in the Green Horse and novice horse classes, you must know the total amount of money   won by the horse on barrels in the horse’s lifetime.  This will require you to ask the prior owners.

GREEN HORSE BARRELS:  A horse qualifies for this class if it is 6 years old or younger as of January 1st  and this is the first year it has competed in barrel racing.  It can not have run for anything in a barrel racing event.  This includes money, tack, feed, ribbons, trophies, etc.  This horse can not have earned any barrel points in any registered breed association or any other Association or club. (Basically, it can only have been exhibitioned before our year begins.)

$500.00 NOVICE HORSE BARRELS: A horse qualifies for this class if it has won less than $500.00 in any barrel competition in its lifetime as of the beginning of our “Year”.  Awards such as ribbons, tack, feed, trophies, etc. are  not included

$1250 LIMITED HORSE BARRELS- A horse qualifies for this class if it has won less than $1250 in any barrel racing competition in its lifetime as of the beginning of our “Year”.   Awards such as ribbons, tack, feed, trophies, etc. are not included.

 

RCBRA year - October 26, 2008 (day after finals) through the 2009 year until finals, 10/24/09.
